Pursuant to the current Pandemic situation due to Covid-19, the Gujarat Government has amended the Provisions related to working hours for adults for a short duration. Accordingly duration of a shift can be up to 12 hours till 19th July 2020. Salary for such extended shift hours can be paid at the same rate equivalent to their 8 hours rate. For example if Rs. 80 are being paid for 8 hours than Rs. 120 will be paid for 12 hours. Notification is attached.
ESI dues for Oct 2019 to Mar 2020 can be paid till 11th June 2020.

Wage limit increased from Rs. 8000/- to Rs. 15000/- w.e.f. 03.01.2020 under Employees Compensation Act 1923.
Below attached is Notification from Ministry of Labour and Employment.
As per cicular dated 30/09/2019 Special Allowance has been increased by Rs. 02.50 per day w.e.f. 01/10/2019 to 31/03/2019. Hence new minimum wages (Basic + Special Allowance) w.e.f. 01/10/2019 shall be as under for different class of industries.
Now total special allowance is Rs.42.40.

As per cicular dated 09/04/2019 Special Allowance has been increased by Rs. 03.70 per day w.e.f. 01/04/2019 to 30/09/2019. Hence new minimum wages (Basic + Special Allowance) w.e.f. 01/04/2019 shall be as under for different class of industries.
Now total special allowance is Rs.39.90.
